What does work and what does not work On Kep iREACH Management Committee (MC) Election 1. Background Why does Kep iREACH need Management Committee (MC)? One of the main project objectives is to pilot-test a community-driven system of blended technologies in support of services, applications and content identified by the communities as contributing to social, economic and cultural development. The project staff has also introduced to community members that iREACH belong to community. The MC is a key element in achieving this objective. Generally, there were two main steps before having MC, including the Interim Committee (IC) and MC election steps. Productive and relaxable Meeting |

Kep team attended iREACH project meeting and joined the retreat in Battambang province. The meeting was held on 31 March 2009 with aiming such below:
- Reported one year achievement (May 2008-April 2009)
- Developed/prepared one year detail plan from May 2009-April 2010, including a strategy for project sustainability
The meeting was successful with interactive facilitation by Mr. IM Sarun, RoM, iREACH Central and active participation by the project teams (Kep, KCM, Central). That was a productive meeting and good team building leading by PM (Mr. Chea Sok Huor), CSD representative (Mr. Im Sophea), CSUK (before MVU) representative (Pin Vannaro) and RoM (Mr Im Sarun). |

 That is a pleasure to see how interesting of commune council to ICT/iREACH All commune council members from three communes of Kep iREACH target area attened the workshop on "how ICT assists your work". The workshop was conducted on May 23, 2009 at Damnak Chang Eur district, Kep province. There will be another such this workshop organized for commune council and district council. |

What is happening in Kep pilot on Jan. 30 2009? Well, there is a visit by IDRC vice-president and ICT director Michael Clarke and Maria. That is very very great opportunity for iREACH and CSD to accompany such these VIP people. |
